The day- to - day activities of the Organisation
are managed by a group of professionals. And...
Our over all programme is a pathway out of poverty. Starting from oour Helpless People's Project to micro-credit programmes.
Helpless People's Project focuses on assisting improverished/financially handicapped and abandoned sick people to obtain permanent
cure for their ailment through (i) solicitation for funds.(ii)maintaining a transit home and (iii)Success Story. The micro-credit
programme focuses on education, training and skill building of the indigents in our society through its skills acquisition
programme of hair barbing/dressing/styling, weaving, computer training, soft loan and scholarship.
HELPLESS PEOPLE'SPROJECT
SOLICITATION OF FUNDS:The project focuses on assisting improverished/financially
handicapped and abandoned sick people to obtain complete cure for their ailment. We are aware that abject penury and lack
of having access to means of soliciting for assistance force majority of our people to abandon their helpless sick people
to suffer perennially before death. We assist in this area by assisting such people. We take in the sick person, send them
to our designated hospital for diagnosis, information on type of treatment, cost of treatment and information on post treatment
recuperation. Subsequently, we solicit for funds for these sick persons from Corporate Bodies/Organisation, Donor/Charitable
Organisations, Philanthropists and the General Public.
Once the required amount is completed, the patient goes for the treatment. After the treatment, the person
is re-united with his/her family. However, if the person requests for our assistance to gain meaningful employment or has
need for formal or informal education, he or she benefits from our skill acquisition programme, after which he/she is reintegrated
into the society.
TRANSIT HOME: Aware that treatment of these sick people run into months before
solutions are found and housing them in hostels will consume huge fund, we maintain a transient home where the Helpless abandoned
sick people and battered women are housed temporarily until their cases are resolved. The home has been very helpful to the
success story of the organisation's project.
REHABILITATION
The programme takes care of street boys and girls who the organisation has reformed and the abject poor who
are displayed either by natural disaster or other circumstances beyond their control. The street boys and girls who are reformed
are assisted by the organisation to find suitable accomodation, which are paid for by the organisation for the first year.
They are to pay for subsequent years from their earnings. This is to make them responsible citizens. They are monitored during
this period to ensure they do not digress from standard norms. The same priviledge is given to displaced poor people.
They are assisted to find and pay for suitable accomodation for the first year after which they take up subsequent payments
of the accomodation.

who remarried, she was faced to take up commercial sex work for survival. Peace do not wish to engage in such
a trade and her encounter with the organisation in one of our youths outreach/empowerment programme saved her situation.

PROGRAMMES
We carry out training/educative/enlightenment programmes at the grassroots. We give urgent attention to tropical

aggressive outreach programme on HIV/AIDS at the grassroots. We are mapping out strategic plan that will assist us to make
impact on HIV/AIDS information at the grassroots.
We have carried out various enlightenment/awareness campaign and training programmes in health and health
related issues and societal ills especially on violence against women, discriminatory practices against the girl child and
